Newgistics Announces Acquisition of AtLast Fulfillment

Austin, TEXAS—August 8, 2012—Newgistics, a provider of small parcel delivery, returns management and freight shipping services, announced today it has acquired AtLast Fulfillment, a Colorado-based provider of fulfillment and warehousing solutions.

This marks a strategic investment for Newgistics, as AtLast Fulfillment’s business is in line with Newgistics’ logistics delivery and return business strategy. This acquisition substantially expands the range of solutions that Newgistics offers, which now includes turnkey solutions that allow emerging e-commerce merchants to work with a single partner for fulfillment, delivery and returns management.

AtLast Fulfillment Kentucky - Serving Up World Class Order Fulfillment

LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY—Kentucky is known for its world famous brands like Markers Mark, its legendary horse track Churchill Downs and now AtLast Fulfillment will join the ranks and become synonymous with the Bluegrass State.     

AtLast Fulfillment, an industry leader in eCommerce order fulfillment and technology solutions; announced today its opening of a new climate controlled 140,000 square ft. distribution center located outside Louisville, KY. This expansion will increase AtLast’s distribution network throughout North America adding a third facility to compliment existing locations in California and Colorado.

Allowing order cut-off times as late 9pm for all packages. 

Tanner goes on to add, “This location will allow AtLast to better facilitate distribution of our client’s products and improve our client’s customer experience through speed of delivery. With this new addition to our fulfillment network we will now reach 80% of US households in 1-2 days using standard ground delivery service.  

The expansion into Louisville, KY is about location, convenience, and increased customer satisfaction- however, AtLast is also committed to creating jobs and being a sustainable part of that economy. The opening of the new facility will generate over 100 full time jobs this year and more part-time jobs during the holiday season.
